Principals

Dinos Liollio, FAIA, LEED AP

Dinos believes design originates through the stories of communities, creating the narrative for regional architecture. Dinos' portfolio demonstrates that context forms the setting for all design and culture is its narrative. He garners understanding through the stories of a community using group dialogue and interviews. An Alpha Rho Chi Medal of Honor recipient, Dinos has served on national, regional, & state design award juries, led numerous design charrettes, and has lectured on collaboration as the vehicle to realize remarkable buildings that inspire people.

Jay White, AIA, LEED AP

Jay feels a deep appreciation for the trust our clients have in Liollio Architecture. "Good design is a matter of understanding the history of people and places," which Jay endeavors to do through his work in the preservation community. Jay is a graduate of Auburn University and has committed the past 17 years to developing a balance between the conservation of historic buildings, the introduction of contemporary building methods and materials, and the needs of modern life. In addition to being a Principal at Liollio, Jay serves on the City of Charleston Board of Architectural Review, which has oversight on all renovation and new construction in the city’s historic district. 

Jennifer Charzewski, AIA LEED AP

Jennifer believes architecture is about people. The thoughtful development of places to gather, learn, work and play is an opportunity to celebrate the pride and the story of a community. She promotes both the well-being of our design studio and the communities that we serve. “Liollio is a family, and the talent, enthusiasm and commitment of our team makes our work a joy.”  A graduate of Texas A&M University and the University of Minnesota, Jennifer is a past President of AIA Charleston, a member of the AIASC Disaster Assistance Committee, a volunteer for ACE Mentors, and is working with an AIASC group to establish a committee for Equity in Architecture in South Carolina.

Andy Clark, AIA, LEED AP

Andy is passionate about design and the value it brings to our clients. He has a diverse portfolio, spanning education, municipal, commercial and healthcare. “It’s an honor to be part of a talented and dedicated team of design professionals that take pride in their work and make even the most challenging days fun and rewarding.” Andy served as President of AIA South Carolina,  organizing the Community: by design Conference in conjunction with ArtFields in Lake City SC. He is a Past President of AIA Charleston and co-founded a public lecture series to elevate community design dialogue.

Rick Bousquet, AIA, LEED AP

Rick's 30 years of architectural design experience working in the public & private sectors includes government, commercial & retail, historic preservation and institutional & multi-use/multi-family projects. Rick has worked with developers on master planning office complexes, infill projects & retail up-fits. He's also worked with Federal & State Agencies on historic preservation projects & tenant up-fits. As a Principal at Liollio, he's been engaged with programming, master planning, conceptual design, design oversight, design quality management & construction oversight.
